Building & Maintaining a CISM Team (BMT)
One-Day Course; 7 Contact Hours
Critical Incident Stress Management teams are a vital part of any agency or
organization. This team will respond to small or large incidents that can cause
significant stress. However, building and maintaining a team can be a challenging task. In this class we will discuss the different steps in starting a team from the ground up and how to revitalize and maintain a current team. Where do you start? How do you proceed? Who are the decision makers? Where do we get funds for the team? Questions like these can be overwhelming and difficult to muddle through. In this one-day class we will address these and other questions to help solidify a team. Be prepared to come and work in open
discussions; laptop and/or smartphone not required, but advisable.
